National Veteran Small Business Week

It’s National Veterans Small Business week! 30 Oct - 3 Nov.

In honor of the week, let me introduce you to two of my friends who are amazing Veteran Small Business owners.

Suzanne Barber is a professional photographer and USNA Alum (92-1), who owns and operates her photography business serving the Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix, Arizona community with stunning imagery for high school seniors and athletes. She's preserving those fleeting moments of athletes who "breathe, eat and sleep their sport."

Once Suzie is done documenting their high school legacies, our mutual friend
Lisa (Bachman) Rielage is forging an informed path for their college futures. Lisa is an Independent Educational Consultant, and also a (92-1) USNA Alum. She "helps students and families approach college admissions with calm, clarity, and confidence."

I am so inspired by my Veteran Brothers and Sisters who have taken the entrepreneurial path and wanted to highlight these two in particular, who are taking care of our future generation.

Go Navy Ladies, you make me proud!
