One morning I snuck in 20 minutes of DC street photography before I chained myself to my 9-5 desk job. This is Clayton, first he asked me where I was from because “you are too friendly to be from around here (DC)”. To which I responded I was a Veteran; we are used to making eye contact and greeting with a purpose. He wanted to know if my camera could make him handsome. A simple greeting led to a pleasant exchange and reinforced my belief we all should stop and smell the roses & acknowledge we aren’t on this journey alone.
